Vessel - Broadsword
Broadsword is a Naiad 6.8m powered by twin 150hp Yamaha outboards.
In its previous life it was a coastguard rescue vessel for the Mackenzie lakes district. It has now been repurposed as a multi-use work platform. Naiads are renowned for their solid builds and great seakeeping abilities often refered to as the 4WD of the sea. The boat features full safety equipment and has twin simrad chart plotter/sounders and radar. It can carry up to 8 people including the skipper. It is surveyed for inshore waters throughout NZ.

I'm Jamie the founder of Bay Boat Company.
After a rewarding career in the greater marine industries including aquaculture, diving and fisheries science as well as compliance roles as a fishery and maritime officer, I saw the need for an adaptable commercial vessel and skipper combo that can travel and easily fill the need for many demands.
I hold a SRL 24m ticket and have a wealth of experience working in different industries and offer a variety of skipper services so get in touch about your project today.
I am based in Tauranga but have the ability and experience to work throughout NZ.
